I-Renew’s Revitalization Project
Dear I-Renew Blog Readers,
If you've driven by the I-Renew headquarters or been on the grounds of Prairiewoods recently, you may have noticed our building looks a little different.

In the past, I-Renew's headquarters had a combination of different solar systems on its roof that served as demonstrations. The old set-up wasn’t functioning to heat our building. We now have a solar array next to us that powers our building as well as adding more solar energy for Prairiewoods. The new one is behind the array that has been there since 2010. We were thankful to have a contractor complete this Revitalization Project before our cold Iowa winter.
As a result of this project, Prairiewoods went from 30% to 60% of their power consumption being covered by renewable energy. In addition, our building is now able to share power with the volunteers of the Green Prairie Garden, who provide food to local food pantries.
We're seeking individuals or businesses who would be interested in sponsoring this project. We have sponsorship levels in a range that would offer a variety of groups, individuals, or families to contribute.
Please email us at info@irenew.org with the subject line “Possible Sponsor”. We’ll get back to you with more details, which, at the $500 level, includes a spot on a plaque and donor recognition on social media, if you’d like.
Whether you're a business who believes in solar or an individual who believes renewable energy is one of the best ways to reverse the climate crisis, we would greatly appreciate your support.
